Over the past couple of weeks you’ve heard me talk about effective email marketing campaigns and what they can do for your business.
Are the emails you’re sending….helping or hurting your business?
Recently, I was talking with a friend of mine who has a list of about 700 people that he sends emails to on a regular basis.
He said that his result were somewhat below average as far as getting people to take action on what he was promoting. Since I’m on his email list I was also getting several of his emails, and I must say…
If you haven’t read my last post, please do so now or you may not know what the heck I’m talking about! The title of the post was “Who Doesn’t Know What A Squeeze Page Is?”
Okay let’s get right into it…
In my last article I was talking about squeeze pages and how James Grandstaff did a survey of about 500 people on his list to see just how many of them had heard of squeeze pages.
The results astounded me!
Only 68% of those surveyed knew what a squeeze page was, let alone what squeeze pages could do for their business. I hope you got to take a look at one of James’ squeeze pages so you can see just how powerful they are. But that’s not the reason for this article.
What I want to tell you about is a little known traffic generation tactic that very few people are using today. This guy is getting over 600 visitors to his squeeze pages every hour with his new system! When I first read that “I thought… what a bunch of bull”. Of course I would never tell James that because I know him…but 600/hour? Can you image what that kind of free traffic can do for your business?
I’m sure you want to know how he does it, just like I did!
If you’ve been visiting my blog on a regular basis, you know that I write most of my articles on different aspects of internet marketing. I do that because not everyone needs help on the same subject. Some of my readers may be struggling with getting traffic, some with getting a product to sell, others may want to just get a blog of their own. The list goes on and on!
I haven’t written too much about squeeze pages on my blog, although I have written a couple for my newsletter which is published monthly. If you’re interested in reading those articles, you can find them on my newsletter (I-Net Marketing Success). You can get on my mailing list just by entering your name and email at the top right side of this page, there is no cost involved… it’s free.
The Internet is filled with unlimited opportunity for you to become wealthy. Unlike the real world, the Internet never sleeps and is open 24/7. Not to say that it is easy to build an successful online empire.
In fact, a 99% of online entrepreneurs fail miserably.
Don’t worry, you can avoid becoming a statistic. Whether you are an online business owner looking to increase sales, affiliate marketer looking for more commissions, or in direct sales seeking to grow your down line, you really need three things.
Leads… Leads… and more Leads!
All joking aside, if you are struggling with your online business and wondering why you’re not making money on the net. The problem could simply be that you do not have enough customers knocking on your door.
Does that surprise you? If you think about it, any successful business (be it online or in real life) depend on customers. Without sales, your business will die. It’s as simple as that. So the question you should be asking yourself is… “How can I drive more customers to my website, and how do I get them to buy?”
Your autoresponder series is one of the most important parts of your email marketing campaign.
While it takes a bit of time and effort, writing a good autoresponder series shouldn’t be very difficult to do. Simply send regular messages to your list that offer something of value. This might be a free ebook, it might be a question that is geared to get them to engage with you, it might simply be an article that you think your list will appreciate.
The tone of your email should be very casual. Write like you are sending an email to your best friend. The more you can create the feeling of natural dialog, the more your list will respond to you, trust you, and ultimately buy from you.
There are three main elements that your autoresponder should contain.
I’ll admit, when I first heard of the term I wasn’t quite sure other than it had something to do with soical marketing. I knew about the social part, but… bookmarking?
So I started to look for more information (via the net as usual) and articles written about Social Bookmarking and I came up with lots of information and articles. So, instead of me writing about something that I wasn’t familiar with or hadn’t used before, I thought what the heck, why not give credit where credit is due.
So here is an article on Social Bookmarking written by Vanessa A. Doctor, I have no idea who she is, but I thought her article covered the basics of Social Bookmarking quite well without going into a lot of detail.
